Transfer Stations

Tillamook County operates three solid waste transfer station facilities.  Transfer station operations are managed through franchise agreements with Tillamook County.  All county waste is transported through our Tillamook Transfer Station facility; however residents and visitors of the north and south parts of the county are conveniently served by satellite facilities located in Manzanita and Pacific City.  Waste collected at each of these satellite facilities is then transferred to the Tillamook Transfer Station before being transported to its final destination at the Coffin Butte landfill located outside Corvallis, Oregon.  In addition to waste disposal, each of the county's transfer station facilities accept materials for Recycling.

*Starting on July 28th the Pacific City Transfer Station will shift to a modified operations schedule. Municipal solid waste (garbage), yard debris and scrap metal will only be accepted on Saturdays and Sundays. Recycling collection will be moved to the Cloverdale Public Works building (34500 Hwy 101 S), with access available on Friday & Monday. We hope to add more recycling collection days in the near future. Thank you for your cooperation*
