Understanding Your Property Tax Statement

1. Property Description
       Tax Code, Map & Taxlot, Acres, Physical Address and Legal Description.

2. Property Owner Information
       Property Owner name and mailing address.

3. Property Values
       Current and previous year Real Market Values (RMV), Assessed Values and Total Property Tax amount.

4. Account Number
       Property Tax ID.

5. Tax District Breakdown
       The total tax amount is the sum of all the taxing districts servicing the property.

6. Lender Details and Payment Options
       If there is a mortgage on the property, the lender information will display here.
       Payment options: in person, by drop box, online or by phone.

7. Payment Dates
       3% discount for full payment made by November 15.
       2% discount for 2/3 payment made by November 15.
       No discount for 1/3 payment made by November 15.
       Remaining payments due by February 15 and May 15.

8. Property Tax Amounts
       Current year property tax amount before 3% discount and any delinquent tax amounts with interest.

9. Total Property Taxes Due
       Total of all year's property taxes including 3% discount on current year.

10. Payment Coupon
       This payment coupon should be included with property tax payment.

11. Lockbox Payment Processing
       The payment processing center is a service provided by our bank to process tax payments.
