Tillamook County Emergency management will be hosting several courses over the next several months.  Listed below is the course description and the URL or a QR code will take you to the registration page..  

 

There will be 2 opportunities for the G0402 Course - December 11, 2026 and  January 8, 2026  

December 11, 2025

G0402 – 4 hrs. NIMS Overview for Senior Officials (Executives, Elected, & Appointed) - The purpose of this course is to familiarize Senior Officials (executives, elected and appointed officials, city/county managers, agency administrators, etc.) with their role in supporting incident management within the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

Who should attend -

Elected officials (mayors, county executives, commissioners, council members)

Appointed officials (city/county managers, administrators, chief of staff)

Senior executives from: Police, fire, EMS, and emergency management agencies

Public health, public works, and utilities

School districts and higher education

Transportation, communications, and infrastructure sectors

January 6, 2026

0402 – 4 hrs. G0191 - 8 hrs. -  EOC/ICS Interface. This 1-day course enables students to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command/Unified Command and the Emergency Operations Center by applying National Incident Management System principles.

PREREQUISITES

IS-100, IS-200 or IS-2200, IS-700, and IS-800 ( all of these on online)

Who should attend –

people who need to understand how the Incident Command System (ICS) and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) work together during an incident.

It focuses on coordination, communication, roles, and responsibilities between on-scene command and off-scene support.

 

January 20-22, 2026

G2300: 24 hrs. Intermediate Emergency Operations Center Functions. Three-day course with the goal of assisting individuals and jurisdictions who desire to develop or improve their Emergency Operation Centers (EOC). By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate, through activities and a Final Exam, the managerial and operational roles of the modern-day EOC as a NIMS Command and Coordination functional group operating within a Multiagency Coordination System (MACS).

PREREQUISITES

IS-100, IS-200, IS-700 ( all of these on online)

Who should attend –

People who work in, manage, or interact with an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during incidents.

 

February 3-5, 2026

ICS-300 – 24 hrs.This 3-day course provides a review of the topic areas and main points of the Incident Command System. This course utilizes scenarios and application exercises to highlight key issues and facilitate discussion.

PREREQUISITES

IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 ( all of these on online)

 

February 17-18, 2026

ICS-400 – 16hrs.- This course is designed for those emergency response personnel who would function as part of an Area Command, Emergency Operations Center, or Multiagency Coordination System during a large, complex incident or event, or those personnel who are or would likely be part of a local or regional Incident Management Team during a major incident, whether single agency, multiagency or Unified Command.

Prerequisites:

IS100, IS200, IS700, IS800 ( all of these on online)  and ICS30
